Berlusconi musa del Rock
Pare che Silvio Berlusconi ispiri sempre più i musicisti esteri. Le vicende matrimoniali del presidente del consiglio hanno dato lo spunto ad un brano musicale di David McAlmot e Michael Nyman. Della cosa ne abbiamo parlato qua.
Adesso è Eugene Chadbourne – un chitarrista e banjista americano che ha spaziato ecletticamente fra il country, il rock, il blues ed il jazz – a lanciare addirittura un album (nella foto la cover) con il titolo Roll Over Berlosconi. No, non abbiamo sbagliato a scrivere il cognome, il titolo è proprio così e si riferisce proprio a lui, a Silvio Berlusconi. Berlosconi è stato forse usato per esprimere la pronuncia americana o, più probabilmente, per evitare azioni legali.
Il brano che da il titolo all’album non è altro che il rifacimento del celebre Roll Over Beethoven lanciato nel 1956 da Chuck Berry e riproposto negli anni successivi dai Beatles, dall’Electric Light Orchestra, dagli Iron Maiden.

LOL, povero Eugene. Lui ha frequentazioni con musicisti italiani, in particolare il gruppo free-jazz ZU, devono essere stati loro ad introdurlo all’argomento. Comunque me lo vado a cercare subito!
